A century-old Sandy Bay home brought carefully into a new century.
The brief
Verndene was a 100-year-old home that deserved a future, not a facelift. The brief was to modernise how it lives — comfort, light, services — while respecting the character that made it worth keeping.
The build
Working with designer John Weston, our team resolved old and new so they read as one home: original character retained, contemporary performance and detailing threaded through. Renovating a heritage-era home rewards exactly the communication and site discipline the owners valued.
The result
In the owner’s words, we brought a hundred-year-old home into a new century. See how we approach home renovations and building in Hobart.
