Certified, not claimed
There's a difference between building to a standard and being certified to deliver it.
Thirteen of our team have passed the Passive House Institute's examination and are individually listed on the international register of Certified Passive House Tradespersons — issued by the same institute in Darmstadt, Germany that defines the world Passivhaus standard.
Certification isn't a marketing line. It's an examined, time-limited, verifiable qualification — proof our people understand how a high-performance home actually has to be built, detailed and commissioned to perform.
What the qualification covers
Building envelope and building services — examined, both.
Building Envelope
- —Airtightness & blower-door verification
- —Thermal-bridge-free construction
- —High-performance windows & glazing
- —Continuous, insulated building envelope
- —Summer comfort & overheating control
Building Services
- —Controlled ventilation with heat recovery
- —Heat supply & distribution
- —Commissioning & quality assurance

Listed on the international register — not just our word for it.
Every certified tradesperson is publicly listed at passivehouse-tradesperson.org and entitled to display the Passive House Institute seal. Our Director, Kyle Zanetto, is certified in both Building Envelope and Building Services.

“A Passive House is a building in which thermal comfort can be provided solely by post-heating or post-cooling of the fresh air flow required for good indoor air quality — without additional recirculated air.”
